I have 30+ years in corporate America where I was constantly connected to work and relied heavily on caffeine and sugar to get me through my busy days racing from meeting to meeting with constant project deadlines and family commitments. Being too exhausted at the end of the day to have the energy to prepare healthy meals, finding easier to just grab some take out. The exhaustion mainly coming from adrenal fatigue from too much coffee and the crashes from too many sugary snacks. Intuitively knowing that I was burning the candle at both ends and wanting to make changes, but are at a loss of where to find something that is going to bring about permanent change.
Nutrition and Herbology are my passions! I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Clinical Herbalist and Holistic Health Coach. I view constitutional imbalances in the body through an Ayurvedic lens. My training has taught me to look for the root cause of a complaint. We will partner together to create a daily routine that will rebalance your body so that you can regain energy, resolve digestive issues, and sleep soundly through the night. I can be your advocate and work in conjunction with your doctor to provide the nutritional and lifestyle support to get to the root cause of your problem so maybe you will no longer need the pill to pacify the symptom.
During our first consultation which will take about 90 minutes we will discuss your health concerns and together we will complete a health intake form that will help us understand what your unique constitution is, your daily habits, what you do and do not like to eat. In our follow-up sessions, which are about an hour, we will continue to build new healthy habits, discuss what is and isn’t working for you and how we can ensure that you can stay committed to taking care of yourself. I will also share simple delicious recipes that are suited for your unique constitution for you to prepare for yourself and your family.
Your kitchen can be your pharmacy and your humble spice cabinet is your ally. Not only do spices add vibrant flavor, but also impart medicinal properties to your dishes. We all know that eating whole fresh foods are packed with nutrients that our bodies are desperately in need of. But where to start? I will show you how to create a weekly menu so that you can have a fully stocked pantry, fridge and freezer to take the stress out of “What’s for Dinner?” And share recipes that are both nutritious and super easy to prepare so that you can get back into the kitchen and maybe even engage your family in cooking together.
